Pianist Baldvin Snær Hlynsson deftly mixes folk and jazz into an empyreal melange of minimalism, drama, and beauty. After releasing his debut album ‘Renewal,’ he recently won “Newcomer Of The Year” at the 2018 Icelandic Music awards.
